the beginning of today was pretty terrible
coz unfortunately, my fever was still there:(
haha XD but i did feel better as the day passed by
except for a splitting headache
think the fever burned a part of my brain or smth haha XD lol

coz i wasnt really feeling well, too tired to do anything haha XD

started feeling better in the afternoon:)
and by the time csc ended, i was kind of glad that i made the decision to come to school ahha XD

today was kind of torturous
because i was sick :( with fever...
had flu yesterday and thought i would be okay today
so i went to have PE which wasnt strenuous
but was down with fever during maths ><

went sick bay during history
(thanks dorothy for insisting and accompanying me <33loves!!)
but somehow couldnt fall asleep -.-
but i think it got better bah:)
unfortunately the fever returned worse than before during and after PW ...

went with jasmine to MINDS to get my carnival stuff
was really feeling super sick>< could have sworn my temperature reached38.8 and onwards lahh -.- but luckily, jasmine was around to help me:)
so we managed to get all the goods to DHS hostel
with the help of rosaline and eric:D
plus shift everything to the storeroom with zhanglu and mingwei's help:)

after that we took 30 home :D
quite torturing to walk home and even had to buy things><
was so glad when i reached home:)

pengyong came over later to pass me a bottle of cooling water :D

but maybe i shall just push everything away and go to sleep..
haha XD after all yes, i do agree that health is the most important lah :D
i dun like being sick coz i tend to be weakest when i get sick
not physically but mentally too

anyway today was a pretty busy day:D
and a fufilling day for carnival preparations with dorothY:)
we finished the tickets! finally:D after all the cutting and chopping heh
so next step is to
GET PEOPLE TO BUY:D

its a fund raising carnival for MINDS:) organised by us
venue: Bedok Community Centre
time: 10am -1pm
theres a SUDOKU competition at 11 am :D and the top prize is $100!:D
haha the entrance ticket costs $2 .. but imagine, $2 for a chance of winning $100
its worth it :) haha!
and the guest of honour is coming at 11.30am
so i really need alot of people to be there from 11 am to around 12 plus
haha so people who are reading my blog now
please please go;):) we will really appreciate it!:D

its for a good cause:)
and it means alot to us too! haha XD our first service learning project leh!
hope it succeeds!:D

i just realised a cool thing about my results:)

todays the first day of 2nd semester 2008! :)

started off with a scare -.-
woke up at 5.30 and thought it was 6.30
and i was late o.O
haha :)

anyway today was the returning of CT papers
theres only econs, CLL and GP left to be given back
aiyo.. somehow wish that there will be more papers to be given back
so i can slack more
i am sooo NOT in the studying mood lahh-.- haha:):)

hmm. i must admit that i did better than i thought
because I seriously did not really study for it ><
guess thats what i like about humanities
its not just about the content, its about the skills and luck
not saying that i have skills -.-
but more of the fact that lady luck's with me :D
if i took science,
i will probably be flying many UFOS now hah:)

hope tmr's papers will be good too :D

oh but i guess life is fair=x
i had my fair share of shock :(
my mum accidentally cut herself very deeply
and it was seriously veryvery bloody :(
felt pretty disgusted when cleaning up all the blood ><
my father took her to the hospital
and she got 5 stitches o.O
guess it must have been super painful..
really hope she recovers soon :D

haha if i was the one who was injured,
i wonder whether my blood condition would have
caused me to lose much more blood
as compared to my mother -.-
somehow i don't fear or reject my blood condition
hha:) thinking positively, it makes me unique:) aha!

havent blogged for one or two days i guess!:D

anyway heres a recap of yesterday!:D

it was a pretty good day:):) except that i was late for dance in the morning -.-
dance was good:) i like the new dance.. but somehow my memory seems to be failing me .. couldnt rmb the steps towards the end of the lesson aha

went to SUNDAC chai chee after that:) took the wrong bus and ended up walking there on foot
but everything was worth it:) that sense of familiarity and smiles on the clients' faces(they still rmb me!) as well as on the trainers' faces:) omg i love them loads:)makes me very very happy!

and i saw my boyfriend :D haha after so long!:D and hes still as cheerful as ever:) and thoughtful!
he was very happy when i came and accd to rina, he waved bye bye very happily as the van sent him home :D haha :) although sometimes i dunno whether he uds what i signal to him, our best way of communicating and understanding each other is through smiling:)<33

felt really happy that the SUNDAC trainer family is getting biggeR:) was quite worried for them coz jessie and eliza left.. but seeing the new faces and how well they get along together, i really feel happy for them! and i want to be part of their family too:):) haha i want to go back to SUNDAC chai chee for attachment:) also coz its nearer to my house and more convenient for me coz i will be really busy during that period =X

still felt the most comfortable with christina and jon:) especially christina:) thanks to her for calling me back to help;D haha shes really a strong person and i like her very very much:) hope that she really got over her loss and i really wish that she will have a second chance;D the other new trainers are very nice and i want to get to know them better! so eager to do that!:D

anw danced with the clients :) brought back wonderful memories of last December :D
and teck guan did a good job of singing:) so proud of him!:)

haha anw pengyong came over(: after the trip, we went bedok cc to settle some carnival stuff and then we went post centre:)

oh anw jeanine is back!:) for one month:) haha! really miss her loads:D so super happy:)
i met her at post centre and we talked and talked and talked<33 omg i love her so much!!!:):)she never fails to brighten up my day :D

today was A FUN DAY!:D

it started off with dance in the morning:)
feels so good to be dancing again!
theres a performance tmr
and i really hope we will do well:)
especially me :D coz ya.. haha
and its also the last time.. ya.. haha XD
oh well! :D

anyway had a fun time at dance:)
thinking , crapping , sweating, eating and dancing:)
haha:D thats why i tell myself to persevere and hang on no matter what :D
you all give me the motivation to continue dancing :D

went for mongolian outing after that!:D
haha! my first mong outing coz i missed the first few:(
but it really rawked!:)
although the atmosphere was not that kind of HIGH atmosphere
where everyone will be very lively and chatty,
somehow it feels really heartwarming :D
just the way it is ;)
I think its the company , just seeing each other, being around each other
thats all that really matters :D
and it will stay the way it is now and in the future!:)

today was a pretty busy day :( but fufilling:)

Anyway, I had to go SMU today for Dunman High ASEAN plus summit as an usher:)
a "floating" usher , to be exact!:D met up with kailin, meixue, jolai, samteo,valentia and yunxiu at city hall mrt and we walked there together:)

saw many dhs peope:)saw weijia too!:)
it was quite a good experience ushering people and
doing it with people I like makes it twice as fun :D:D:D
and i really mean what i say :)

oh anyway something that brightened up my night:)
coz during the ASEAN summit, jolene lai took a video of me about my carnival:)

but THANKS for the effort put in to help me:)

anyway, there is NO more lucky draw for my carnival,
instead , there is going to be a SUDOKU competition where great prizes are won;)

CLEP camp:
well, it was a super slack camp
maybe its coz i only went there for 2 days..
in fact 1.5 days , to be exact:)
i was in the same group as wanye :D
my group was not bad lah.. they are NICE people:)
but a pity did not get to know them better! :X
but oh well, guess this was quite an OKAY camp :D

TF CAMP!:)

TF camp was really a fantastic camp:D
saw many familar faces when i reached there and somehow i really cant wait for us to
really bond as YV TFs comm 2008:D although we really bonded through this camp
i know that our bonds can be closer and i will be looking forward to the arrival of that time!:D
anyway the whole camp was planned pretty well:)
and i got a good group for my amazing race
where we really talked,shared and bonded, especially on the bus:D
me, meiyun, sylvia, marco, edmund and PJ:)
we were the only group that completed the 3 stations too!
oh and singing the YV songs and dancing the YV dance really brought back memories:)
haha sweet sweet memories!:D
anw the comm planned a pleasant surprise for us :)
they bluffed us that we had to go pulau ubin when actually they were preparing a surprise bbq for us:)
haha no wonder they were so eager to chase me away when i was using the labtop for mongolian purposes haa:)

anw the bbq was quite a success and we could not sleep le

well, I did not specially come to school to use the labtop-.- it was kind of a "shun bian " thing since I came to school to take something important:)
and the school's labtop is FAST :)

wanted to do alot of things
but in the end got stuck on all the documents for my application of license for my carnival
and YAY:) its finally done!

i really really really appreciate it alot!:D
well, heres the explanation--
I needed the details to fill up a document on the stallholders of my stalls:D
but no worries, it can be changed anytime so if any of you are not interested in volunteering at my carnival, just tell me and i will just have to find replacements
its just a procedure whereby I need to show them that I have already settled the part about my volunteers.. so THANKS SO SO SO SO SO MUCH:)

another brief post before i start work!

the whole of today was spent at xinhui's house
doing PW -.-
omg i love PW so much -.-
rahh!

but xinhui's house was nice:)
and the food was nice：D
i really love homecooked food
even if its unhealthy and fattening ><
haha:)
maybe its becoz i very rarely got to eat real homecooked food since sec 1
when my mother decided not to hire any more maids
thats why everytime i get to eat homecooked food, I will always feel very blessed and thankful:)
haha :) and since sec 1 , i have also always envied other people who are able to return home to eat real homecooked food by their mother/maid
but oh well:)at least i have food to eat
must be content:)

super tired now:(
with headaches and aching all over
havent even touched my schoolwork
maybe i should really just shut myself up to all the other disturbances
except for work, work and more work :(

sometimes we should just shrug matters regarding acceptance and popularity and isolation and oblivion off :)
it gets better this way!
as long as you know that there will always be someone always supporting you ,
it doesnt matter if you dun get accepted or get ostracized or feel left out
coz its impossible to make the whole world like you ><

heres a brief post before I go and sleep!

just finished the chinese composition that was supposed to be due last tues o.O
oh well! :) i am glad i finished it because I kept procrastinating all the way -.-
Procrastinating must be one of my worst flaws!

Anyway, I realise that i have not blogged about CLEP camp and TF camp:)
I shall blog about it another day because currently, my brain is almost dying of exhaustion-.-
My poor brain cells have been almost completely wiped out lah!

And the worst thing is that I still have not sent the documents for the application for license yet:(
I have also not done my PW prep work for tmr and all my other homework..
plus the remaining CSC stuff to do :(
time is seriously running out .. RAHHH! how frustrating!
oh no. my blog is becoming more like a place for me to vent my frustrations instead..
oh well:) shall not complain because I know that probably everyone is also feeling the same way
so instead lets think positively and
treat this as a challenge ehh:)

even though we were rushing all the way
because I was late for my dance recital
I really enjoyed every single bit of it
and i am glad I got to pray :)
although time was not enough and I had loads of people to pray for
which resulted in my lack of depth in praying
(just skimming through most names)
I really hoped it helped them:)

haha and i realised thats the temple I always go to pray during Chinese New Year
which means that I have actually prayed at the temple with both of my fathers：）

was thinking to myself that actually i am a very blessed girl :)
as compared to those people suffering out there
victims of natural disasters, poverty etc
and kids also suffering in Singapore due to various problems
and also normal teenagers

and theres no need to compare
because everyone is equal :)
its just that we are good and bad in different ways
comparing is inevitable but try not to let it get u down
like urself for who you are
if you dislike yourself or don't know when to like urself
the day when someone says she/he likes you(nt in that way -.- )
should be the day you start liking yourself:)

I have so many people I can count on:)
and seriously each encouragment I see brightens up my day :)
it makes me want to try harder for every day:)
to brighten up more people's day!

I am back from YVIP TF camp!:D

currently having a series of mixed feelings:(
Initially, I wanted to send in the documents for the application of the license tonight
but i realized I haven't scanned the receipt so I shall send it by this weekend:)
shall not pressurize myself that much!:D

today was a CSC day!
woke up late in the morning and rushed to post centre for CSC meeting:)
saw Jinghuan there! she was having PW meeting:)
anyway our CSC meeting progressed well:)
although there was alot of crapping and stuff-.-

we headed for school afterwards
and we were SO LUCKY coz after we reached school, it started to rain very heavily 0.0
and we went to the library to use labtop:) ahaha
it was pretty fun coz we were having alot of msn chats:D
scandalous crappy fun chats:):) mongolian convos! :)

anw had eco meeting later on in the conference room with people from United Primas
which is quite a good company i heard:)
the meeting was quite okay lah:D
I hope we did leave them a good impression><

Anyway, now the eco project seems rather unreachable somehow
we keep bumping into dead ends:( sigh!
but oh well:) lets just believe that everything will turn out fine!:)

Besides the eco project, theres still the Father Day;s Celebration at Geylang SHCC
but apparently theres still no news and i am quite worried><
theres also my pile of hw that i havent touched yet and the surveys from AIDHA are coming in:(
plus theres still PW
and worse of all, my carnival! :(

in fact i am really really scared about the fund application grant for my carnival>.<
if I don't get my funds, I really don't know what I would do :(
Its my first major service learning project and I really don't want to have to give it up
even before i try :( and right now, all I can do is really pray and pray and pray , hope and hope and hope that I manage to get the funds >.<
haha well I don't dare to expect too much because in case i CMI, i will not feel that bad :)

i need assurance :( or else I really cant bring myself to find volunteers and people to go to the carnival>< everything seems so unconfirmed.. aiyoo..

arrrghh my whole life seems to be controlled by CSC -.-

and amidst all the stress and headaches,
there are still many reasons for me to feel happy about:):)

but i am nevertheless still very glad:)

hello!:)

today was a pretty tiring day
and i still have so much work to do:(
sian! but oh well:) i just have to gambatte ehh!:)
coz i know everyone is working very hard too!

had PW grp meeting in the morning
where i made a stupid mistake -.-
we were supposed to meet at kallang macs
and i stupidly thought it meant a macdonalds at kallang mrt -.-
so i went kallang mrt before i realised my mistake
LOL!
but luckily:D i was still early lahh :)

so we had grp discussion at kallang macs
and when xinhui went off
me and virg went bugis to eat lunch
and proceeded to national library to do history research
super tiring :( but oh well:)
at least i gained some knowledge:)

HELLO:):)

i havent updated for a very very very long time!!coz i was in mongolia from 22nd may to 31st may and i had CLEP camp from 1st june to 2nd june -.- and so here i am :):)blogging on 3rdjune!


a brief recap of each day :

DAY 1
it was basically a day spent on travelling :) watched enchanted and this extremely nice movie on music in the plane:) very inspiring! anyway after we landed in beijing, we went to a hotel in beijing:D and i roomed with dorothy and grace! we had a lot of fun during dinner, practicing songs except the room was a little small haha:D

DAY 2
spent on travelling:)after we reached hailar, we were really fascinated by the cold weather! we went to a school to interact with the students and they were all very nice:):) took photos, shook hands and they willingly signed their name for me:) was really touched.. however one bad part was we screwed up our bollywood dance:( rahh! nvm:) the home visit later was cool:) and i got a mongolian name- HUARER which means flower:) we had a nice unique mongolian meal too!:) there was a black out though-.0

DAY 3
went for camel and horse riding:) it was really a brand new experience and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly although it was freezing cold , to the extent that we were all huddling together! i think i shrieked a few times during the camel ride :) but its really a lifetime experience!:)really envied the carefree life of the mongolia people! everyday seems so relaxed for them and although they may not be living as comfortable lives as us, they definitely seem happier than us.. oh well:) anw we headed for SHAMINEAU EAST camp:) and it was a GOOODDD PLACE:)very high class and the pple there were really so super nice!!!:):) we learnt a thankyou song too! it will probably be a song i will never forget :)and we stayed in a yurt! YURT 13:)
me, dorothy, xiaoyou,chinyi,grace,meiyun,meixue,yuru and esther:) i love my yurt mates-- yurties!!:) although the yurt was small, it was COZY:):)

DAY4

we had river rafting today!:) real fun but it was kind of tiring and most of us got sunburnt! but still, it was a one of a kind experience, we sat in a truck:) damn cool! and our group arrived first:) haha:) YAY! but yahh.. it was nice(: we saw cows cross a river 0.0 lol! after that, we rested and the mongolian teachers came:) we interacted with them(: and my table had jack, an american guy who sadly left a few days later.. he was really funny:D ohh and grace plus weijie plus xueting were in my grp:)

DAY5

we went to a primary school!:)and the kids there were SUPER DUPER CUTE!!!!(: i had a REALLY GREAT TIME with them!:) i love kids!!! and i helped them draw portraits of themselves!i think they kind of liked it :) and theres this girl beside me whos really cute, pretty and sweet cuz later before the pfm, she specially sat behind me and tapped my back:) haha.. the innocence and sincerity in kids are what draws us to them:) anyway this time, bollywood was quite a success coz we prepared for it! plus all our chicken dances were FUN:D after that we climbed a hill!! super NICE:) although there was a lot of shit of the way up -.- haha but once we reached the top, everything was wonderful and we camwhored all the way! i even did something like a split lah:)

DAY6

today was mural painting day!!:):) everyone was helping in some way or another:):) and some people went to make dumplings and play carpet ball plus table tennis later:) it was a nice nice day where we kind of bonded:)and mr gi was also very nice to help us make instant noodles becuz it was very late and we were tireD:)haha! oh my lips cracked very badly on that night too :(but it got better lah:)

DAY7

today was visit to reindeer park:) i sat with jonathan!!!:) this super cute amercian boy and i played many games with him! well, actually i taught him many games and he invented the "shy" move.. i was also playing copycat with him, copying all his movements and keith they all called it "weird movements" haha:D reindeer park was nice! reindeers were CUTE:) except alot of shit hahah:D

met with some hiccups along the journey back>< but glad that everyone stayed happy , strong and positive:D haha:)well, sometimes we need to go thru a crisis before our bonds can become stronger and i guess this could be counted as one:D haha!we took this chance to talk , crap and laugh:)it was kind of memorable:)for each and every one of us:)

after that when we went back, we continued with the mural painting:)even though everyone was tired but we still did our best and put in all we could! it was really heartwarming to see everyone at work.. <33 and i taught xy bollywood and hongsheng taught us chingay haha:D it was a fun night!

DAY 8
thought we were going to leave the camp without spending a last night there ..so we spammed photos :) and in the end , luckily,we got to stay at the camp for one more night! our pfm at the sec sch was good too:)camp fire was pretty HIGH although our lungs suffered-.- haha we stayed up until very late to talk , sing and me, xiaoyou and meixue din slp at all!:)

DAY 9
this time, we had no choice but to really leave the camp le.:( after staying so long in the camp, everything seems so homely and frankly speaking, we din want to go but oh well, at least we know that the beautiful memories at that place will always stay with us:) we had a fun time travelling back too! had a nice talk with keith n xiaoyou on the plane from hailar to beijing(: had a nice time at beijing airport too although everyone was falling sick >< and slept all the way back to singapore.. and

thats the end of the inner mongolian trip><

when i reached singapore,it was a mixture of different emotions.. its as though we were all thrown back into reality and had to face the huge pile of work again:(i was really stressed up that morning when i started using the computer because i found out that i had so many things to do :( i really missed those carefree days in mongolia where every day was a new experience and having fun with all my friends:)

when this trip just started, i was not very close to the people in the trip>< but slowly as time passed by, our bonds grew stronger(: through performance practices, mural painting, yurt time or simply by the fact that we were in it together :) the 25 of us , a team (:we went through this 10 days together and we share the same memories which i am sure will stay with us until we are old (:
